Louise Taylor, based in Oxford, UK, uses photography, writing, and family archives to explore themes of autobiography, identity and loss.

She graduated from London College of Communication, with a Distinction in her MA for Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, in 2020. She studied for a BA in Fine Art Film and Video in 2000 at Central St Martins, London.

Her films have screened in festivals at the National Film Theatre and the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. She was selected by Werner Herzog to attend his Rogue Film School in London in 2011. Modern Art Oxford exhibited work from Sakura in the Responsive Space gallery, 2020 after participating in an Activating our Archives workshop with artist Sunil Shah.
